I am having trouble with my 4m vaderstad drill,it will not stay up out of the ground it keeps dropping down, changed the coupling and swapped to a different spool on the tractor and it still does it,what should I look at next before I ring up the dealers
Many thanks

I have exactly the same problem. New ram seals and depth stop valve fitted. Still the same problem

Thought there was a o ring in the valve block at the back that caused that problem but can’t remember exactly where it is.

Check the spring on the end of the rod that sets the depth on the ram. If a bit is broken off it won't work the valve properly and will shove the depth stop down the ram letting the drill get further into the ground

The low lift valve seems to be working okay but will put the stop at the top in the morning just to check

What was the problem in the end. Have the same issue myself
Valve in the block at the back of the drill was knackered, changed that and it solved the problem . I got in touch with park farm machinery and they were very helpful and sorted it out in no time unlike the main dealer who said it would need a new block!
