Been a bit busy to get on it, but at the moment it’s in Rygor Mercedes workshop having the electronic issues sorted.
Then to Moreton Tyres for a rethink on wheel equipment.

Most likely put the 600 mm from the back on to the front, then put 750s on the back c/w new wheels.

Yea he does and I think he mentioned JCB had warranted the axles but I,m dubious tbh the lime is a heavy old job on running gear

When our local JCB dealer made a few tentative enquiries about doing one for me a few years ago, he reckoned JCB were dead against and wouldn’t warrant it.

Well, I’ve hardly touched it for well over a month because I’ve been busy spreading, but the last few days I’ve done a bit.

Im in limbo because I’m waiting for hydraulic and GPS stuff to happen, but decided to get a few of the small jobs done.

I’ve never like the view from the front, it all looks a bit empty.

So I made a couple of these plus some other bracketry.

And cut a couple of these from some 6mm stock board.

And bolted them on to form a couple of front mud flaps.

Just waiting for some OVER SIZE decal plates to put on them now.

We’ve put the bed belt gearbox back on today.

Bit of help from my lad so fitted the spinner box system back on too.

Then we hooked the trailer on and tried it on a bit of a slope in my yard to make sure the trailer drawbar doesn’t hit the spinner box. It’s as good as we could get but I’ll have to be careful if I approach steep inclines with the trailer on.

Tried it up a very steep heap of tarmac planings and it was good, but by that time it was pissistently pouring with rain so I’d had enough and certainly wasn’t inclined to faff about with the camera!!
