Propane fittings

I presume I need an adaptor of some sort to connect this type of coupling to a regular propane cylinder? Anyone know what it is called?

Is there no regular going on the bottle?
usually there will be this type of fitting onto the regulator

But you could just cut the pipe and stick astraight fitting on.

Its for a grain drier... are FLT gas tanks different internally to a standard propane tank so they offtake liquid rather than vapour? Am I limited to use 18kg FLT tanks rather than the 47kg ones?

The fitting in the bottom photo is a “ liquid take off” type. We have these atm. on our mobile dryer.

now I know what to ask for... none of the gas companies seem to show that as an option on their websites!

need adaptors to do that though.. probably get less left in the bottle hat than using a liquid take off bottle
