PTO cover for Claas round baler.

Before the grass grows enough for baling, I was looking at a new PTO cover for my Claas 255 rotocut. I bought a normal one from Claas a few years ago, but it hasn't lasted and I seem to remember it set me back 3 or 400 quid, which for a bit of plastic tube doesn't seem to encourage replacement.
I was just wondering if anyone had thoughts on an alternative. The shaft has the usual wide-angle end but I seem to remember I couldn't find a non-genuine replacement last time. I'm quite happy to look at other suggestions/systems too, rather than wrap myself round the shaft. :) Any ideas gratefully received.

Mine had a new Claas one which started to destroy itself in the 1st year around the wide angle bit due to the check chain compressing it . Now connect the check chain around the draw bar rather than dedicated hole on the tractor and it no longer tries to destroy itself

That's half the problem with pto guards. Most people don't secure them properly nor grease the rings. Then blame the guards for being crap

Exactly the same here never attach the chain to the pto guard always to the drawbar
