Hello all

I am after a single phase, pto generator of about 25kva

Looking at second hand ones, they are all about 30 years old and cost £1500

Can anyone recomend a supplier of reasonable, new ones

Its for power cut use only

Thank you

If it was me, I would go for a decent 30 year old one, will likely not have done a lot of work, and will be better made than a modern one.

Edited to add, don't discount an engine driven one, I bought a 1980s lister diesel 30 kva single phase on ebay for £1500 with 455hrs on it a few years ago.

The 30 year old one will be fine for raw power giving heat and light but probably won't have auto voltage regulation which would be preferred for computers etc.
If you but an engine driven try and get one that runs at 1500 rpm.
Old British stand by sets are usually cheap for what they are comepared to newer imports.
