Pumping with agitator.

Just wondering how well would an agitator pump slurry from 1 tank to another? The one I have is a very, very old redrock agitator
I don't have the top fill attachment but can make an attachment to go onto the spout down at the bottom. The furthest point it has to pump would be about 40 yards.
Also, I've never heard or seen it before but is there such a thing as an agitator that can double up as a pump and pump out to the field? I know the pressure wouldn't be great but even if its out to just out to a dribble bar. Surely with all the innovation out there, there's bound be an invention to do this?

We have an agitator specifically for that reason, pumping into towers. Used to be an old NC Super 3000, which wasn't the best in thicker stuff, but I'll cut it some slack considering it was from the 90s. Other week there got a new Redrock Super flow and Holy Jesus can that machine shift the stuff.

Having said that I'm not sure how your home made bodge job will do but I'd imagine it will be fine. Our furthest tank will be 20 metre from pump and absolutely no trouble with the new machine and did fine with the old one providing it was reasonably thin. Can't visualise a yard, I'm too young!

I wouldn't pump it out to the field with it though, can't see them pumping well through layflat hose and just won't have the pressure for the job.
