Purlin spacing

Putting up a new shed, 20 m span 6 m bays 18 degree pitch and using 0.7mm Plastisol sheeting, going with 175x65x1.6mm purlins, what's the max spacing between purlins?

Best to ask the Plastisol manufacturer/supplier.

It might need closer spacing at the eaves and ridges, and be dependent on where you are in the country (snow and wind conditions).

Edit - also, it will depends on the purlin strength too. Too far apart and each purlin will be working too hard.

Edit 2 - quick google and it is the purlins that control it. They are quite small for a 6m span. Depends whether you have them single or double/multi-span but you'll need them close together. Nothing more than 1.2m I'd say. Best check with the shed designer though.

I trawled the internet for the same answer fairly recently and 1 metre was the answer I got.

EDIT: I was referring to .7mm corrugated/box profile tin.
