Putting discs onto a tine cultivator?

I’ve got a 6m proforge maxtilla (tines and crumble roller) but in the dry conditions it struggles so was thinking about adding one or 2 rows of disks onto a beam.

I might be missing something incredibly obvious but it seems a lot more cost effective to fit our own set of disks to this frame rather than buy a new set of disks.

Any thoughts or comments? Or am I being daft.
