Looking for a seeder unit to fit onto the back of a 5m top down. 8 outlets would be better but anything considered. Don’t really want to spend much on it .
I want to sow a small area of turnips with a Vicon wag tail spreader. Is it best to mix with fertilizer? Will the turnip seed get carried as far as the fertilizer or will I have missed strips/ banding.
Anyone know what these go to or where I can go to find out? everywhere says they cant help me or need part #'s.
Limited down to Comer t-304a's gear reducers and gear increasers, some have same shafts some have different, 6 spline vs straight shaft vs 19 spline etc.
Any help would be greatly...
Hi,
I have a 3 meter Rapid that i run on a Fendt 516 with RTK. I measured the width of the machine from outer disc to outer disc to 288 cm, so that leaves 6 cm on each to to the next pass for a total of 12 cm between passes. I tried measuring as i drilled, but clearly i havent been careful...
Has anyone had this modification done on their drill. Had the call to say it needs doing which involves cutting some bits to allow a longer plate to be welded in where the wings fold from the main body.
interested to see one done before they start.

Not surprisingly, the organisation is also advising farmers and customers to expect price rises.

We have a big issue with grass weeds and it’s getting worse. We are ok if we have a big spread of crops but it simply just doesn’t pay due to poor yields of spring crops such as spring linseed, spring barley, spring beans spring wheat. We’ve also tried grass but without our own livestock we get...

We have a few krone mowers, we bought this 10'6'' trailed mower new, in 2015, it has done a fair few acres but the triples have taken over most of the work the past few years.
Long story short, when changing a module bearing we noticed play in the back idler gear so we took out all the...
I’ve got an unproductive field of grass that’s mainly meadow brome. The plan was to hay it this year but with it being so dry I can’t see there being anything there worth mowing.
I’m still an amateur to growing cereals and a cover crop virgin so be gentle…
I’m thinking:
Burn off the grass in...
I know disc mowers are more popular than drum mowers but I really dislike my Krone disc mower. It's on its fifth season, it's unreliable and is hard to get as tidy a job as with the vicon drum mower we used to have.
Looking at alternatives, has anyone got a Weaving drum mower which I think are...
Looking to source a plain soil leading disc for a drill project that is bigger than the normal range.
Using a 460mm plain disc at present and want to try something nearer 600mm.
There’s a few around the 500mm diameter but nothing I can find bigger than that.
Obviously there’s stud pcd...
I use an International 574 for my ploughing, the lift arms are 750mms long and when I push the plough as far right as possible the front disc arm fouls the lift arm. I have been told to use longer arms to overcome the problem would this be the best solution or would it be better to lengthen the...
I am relying on peas to be important crop in our rotation moving towards the notill system. Beans have had good success when direct drilling with the disc drill, but it is riskier crop to grow in our region (might not rain in the summer and pests will destroy the crop) and the harvesting is...
I have a shed to take down, the round roof is in poor condition so not going on top too dangerous. The roof is 40year old corrugated iron, held down with shed nails as we call them and rubber washers. The shed nails are 6mm thick.
teleporter and basket available to lift me up to get access...
The pre-em on the spring beans hasn’t worked well in this dry weather - we’ve got a lot of fat hen. Is there anything available other than Basagran? (which says moderately resistant for fat hen on the label)
Thanks
