The engines were just piston and bore no bottom end failures.Never had an engine problem with a 420 but had the rest or your list . Now got a Yamaha not really a lot better

Starting to think that myself. Bought a honda 520 pioneer and really like it but when I washed it the other day, half then black paint come off leaving a lot of rust on the suspension wishbones etc. it is only 6 months old so rang Lloyds and rep arrived took photos and an hour later rang back to say honda has said they were not interested. Did mention I bought it from Lloyds not honda so not I am not a happy bunny. Firstly poor build quality ( I might as well bought a CF Moto) and then poor response to a warranty claim.
What model Yamaha are you running? We only ever had a blue big bear it was poor to say the leastNever had a engine problem with a 420 but had the rest or your list . Now got a Yamaha not really a lot better
is the fa2 manual with power steeringJust bought a new Honda 420 fa2 on the 0% finance.First time I’ve ever bought a new bike. 5th 420 for us here. Never had an issue with any of them . The one we are retiring is on 32k kms , came to me on 12k 2 years ago. Serviced annually by dealer and looked after while we’re using them.

The lad that fixes our bikes reckons the 700 yam is a good bike or maybe the bestNow running a450 had a 700 before.as I said earlier in the thread I have a Yamaha because of the service the dealer gives
Afraid not, just on account. Contacted branch manager and told him I'm not happy.Did you pay by credit card? If so ask for a refund from the card company as 6 months paint life is not good enough.
No still run Yamaha, actually got a new one the same time as the honda.....and the paint is perfect on it. It came from Carrs Annan who are always excellent if any issues arise. Is this instead of a bike (you had Yamaha?) or aswell as?
Minus the shyte paint is it any good? Never seen any of them round here, it's all the Polaris and a few CanAm ones
No auto with power steeringis the fa2 manual with power steering
Yep we have had issues with Yamaha, non of them are as good as they were. Built to a price no doubt. Bought the honda as we wanted something light that would travel in this wet weather, used to run gators but too heavy, unreliable and noisy.Never had a engine problem with a 420 but had the rest or your list . Paid £8100 for it. Would have preferred an Fa6 but nothing available till JuneHow much is a new 420 ?

We opted for the 450 this time hoping to save a bit of fuel but it is nowhere near as good as the 700 and uses just as much fuelThe lad that fixes our bikes reckons the 700 yam is a good bike or maybe the best
My lads girlfriend is on contracting and will have the 700’s nowt else
Early days just spoke to them a couple of weeks ago so hopefully they will step up. Don't do much with them is then problem, if I was a bigger customer they might have had a better attitude.Lloyds have been quite good with me I bought a tractor with knackered brakes which I knew were on the way out and and they did them before they sent it out to us
They could have maybe done a bit more for you

Miles or Kms? never had a honda register milesGot 2 Hondas here, a 420 on 9200 miles and a 500 on 10,400 miles. Both have been faultless. Previous suzuki 400's were way inferior. This is my 3rd 420, first one had that weak back axle second one got nicked so I hope these will stick around to higher mileage
They can be changed over to miles, just hold down the button when on kms and it will change over.Miles or Kms? never had a honda register miles
