We painted it on the new panels as we were concerned they might not have properly cured before coming into contact with the acid. Only did bottom meter or so. No idea if it did any good as did the whole thing but I’d do the same thing again next time!
 
Used two Quattro products here early in the 90s after the silage pit floor started disintegrating a few years after it being built.
A resin type stuff on the bottom meter of the walls, and something we mixed with granite dust and chips to do the floor. Both worked well, but cant remember what the products were called unfortunately.

We did our new pit walls last year. Looks and feels good. Will help sealing the walls. Leaves a nice smooth finish. Everyone that has looked at the pits has asked what it is and liked the look of it. I know of 2 other pits been done with the same product since mine has been done.
