im a stockman , "reusable serrated ledger plate" so i dont understand a word of this !

however i should of added both major components , came out a skip
It’s the riveted on bit that the knife would cut against.
Even though you are a stockman, if you’d taken it off, you might have sold that bit on eBay for as much as 10p!

The fact that Combine manufacturers haven’t used that type of finger for at least 40 years, might have even made it an antique!

Whoever put it in the skip, is obviously not a bodger.

I thought sitting on the floor would be more comfortable then on a block.
It's damned uncomfortable being right down on the floor, you don't realise how low the seat goes. Using the pedals is close on impossible let alone the steering wheel being at shoulder height.
I spent a couple of days like that with the block and bit wasn't too bad, better now I've managed to somehow bodge the control lever into not letting the air out and dropping the seat.

I fill gearboxes etc with an empty fire extinguisher. Half fill with oil, pressurise with air. Pull trigger.

Just musing in the early hours about the old micro applicators for spot spraying weeds.
Floor mops with squirty bottle on shaft and are cheap. We've one with broken head that is going to live again tomorrow for grazon 90 on docks. Lightweight and easier than a hand squirty bottle.
