You don’t need a ramp…. Make a little platform to drive it onto and lift it on the trailer.
I had thought about making a platform but sometimes my trailer is full with seed if I'm going all day.
I know nothing about Gators and what type of transmissions they have, are they hydrostatic? I understood that hydros cannot be towed. Perhaps the transmissions an be disconnected.
They are just belt driven so I just put it in neutral, you can easily push it about...on a level surface.

For future reference a Discovery 2 standard ride height is 6 pieces of parquet flooring.
After taking the pic I did put 3 10x2" screws up behind the axle into the wood to stop it sliding forwards.
1 hour drive home. Sorted.

I chose duct tape and cable ties to hold the rear suspension together after I had to pinch a nut off one of the bolts to cobble the front suspension back together on an Outback trip a few years ago. Made it the 90kms to the closest town in the middle of no where (Oodnadatta....Google it and you'll see what I mean). Magyvered it as failure wasn't an option out there....Note: The nuts off of the shackles/ bolts that hold the springs in are the same as those that go on the rod that holds the upper control arm to the front strut in a Hilux. No other nuts on the vehicle fit.

Emergency roller fix.

Coke can was roughly the size needed for the bearing.

Plan was to drill a hole and cut the hole with my jigsaw. Of course the jigsaw was long enough to cut the wood I had in mind so I cut half out, smashed it out before turning it over and finishing the other side.

Held in place with 2 coach bolts (that just about caught) and some washers from an ex girlfriends boxing set hence the pink. I don't own any other pink washers!

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to put together.

40 acres later it was all done

I left the rear weight block on due to sheer laziness.
