R series squeaky windscreen

The front windscreen on my 6125r is driving me nuts with it's squeaking, tried tightening it to the point I fear the glass would almost crack which slightly reduced it for about 5 mins , so next I released each mount and sprayed penetrating oil on the rubber and refitted , seemed to work for a few days but now it's doing it again . I seem to remember this was something of a known issue with this on the 20 series and wondered if anyone can remember what the fix was ?

Needs new window mounts had mine changed on a 215 and 195 it cured the problem

Are these the ones that are exploding at the moment even on new tractors, heard of one near here that it happened to that was only a few weeks old

You need a new hinge kit on the windscreen, my old 150 had a mod hinge kit fitted and it stopped it.

As said above put some oil on the top hinges or better still get them out and oil them, should stop it

So is the squeak not coming from the rubber to glass contact but the actual hinge itself , I put wd40 between the rubber and glass but nothing on the actual hinge , will give that a go in the morning and if it doesn't work will order some new hinges

Yes it’s the pins in the hinge that makes the noise
