Rabbits attacking polytunnel

The inside of our polytunnel is looking like a battlefield, holes and digging everywhere. We have old clay roof tiles around the outside to stop them digging under and I'm doing a daily round of blocking new entrances, but now they are just chewing through the plastic. Wondered about putting tiles around the sides at the bottom, (how high can a rabbit reach ?) or a strip of weldmesh around the base. Anyone had similar problems ?

The white netting from silage wrap - they hate it as it hurts their teeth. Try ripping it with your bare hands and you will see what I mean. A layer against the wrap and another layer dug in and up round about a foot away. A good dollop of chilli powder around is a good deterrent too.

Sand mixed with diesel in a line also works, but does not do the soil much good, but you could use it on the tiles.

Joking apart... we have found that if on top of a concrete base, just a row of concrete blocks works. The rabbits don't seem to like 'working' at the dizzying height of eight inches or so.

Just planning for a polytunnel here. Thinking more of a polycrub type thing, but hadn't even considered the risk of rabbits breaking in. Aggghhhh, another thing to worry about. 🥺
I built a tarp shelter a few years back and was advised to sit it on a wall to get it away from critters. Between mice rabbits and squirrels it was money well spent. 4 ft high
