Absolutely seething! Mrs got Radio 4 on and some bint, I think she was called Helen Howard from Fewer Foods Institute, but she sounded as if her mouth was full of (vegan) gobstoppers, made the statement "we all know that we should eat fewer foods from animals for the sake of our health and that of the planet"
How the hell can they make statements like that unchallenged? I'll be glad to see the BBC sink as people refuse to pay for TV licences.

Don't shoot the messenger. It's clear that plant based proteins are the future for the world population, as it continues to grow at the current pace. Best to study the market and see what is required then supply it. In the mean time here, Friday night is still Steak night.........

With obvious exceptions ( there are always exceptions!) broadly, in this country at least, where we can grow cereals to good quality standards....we do.
Where we can't, we grow livestock.
You can study the markets all you like, you aren't growing milling wheat around me.

Then rewild and farm the eco subs they are also what the market wants. Especially your carbon credits!

Farm in Worcestershire has been bought up by nature trust and is going to be taken out of agricultural and be made into a huge nature reserve !
They are appealing on BBC midlands today for help in raising the final £50,000 to achieve it .
You just watch the money roll in !! ..........tossers !!

You could make an official complaint to the BBC like the NFU did for something recently.

I'd recommend just not listening to it.
