Had over an inch since four this pm dont anymore till november thanks

Forecast was 1 to 2 mm. Started raining at about 5 o clock and is only just stopping.Hav'nt checked the rain guage but bet there has been 10mm.
The deluge promised last week did'nt materialise for us ,so this should get the Rape and Linseed up and away.After today we don't want any more for a while.

And all the snow that was forecast for November with the bitter cold to go with it, latest forecast is mild till the end of the year now

Hands up to that one Alistair, the ridge just hasn\'t built sufficiently. It\'s there briefly tonight and in the morning, but then gone.

Can't mine the last time it's been this dry at the end of October water tables are really low u here many wells are dry and people doing boreholes for household water

210mm here for the month of October, thats about a third of the years rainfall so far in one month. Extremely tacky here now, need to get out with the sprayer but can't see it happening for little while yet!
