Rangepoint RTX equivalent on Novotel

Our old fendts ran range point RTX on Trimble cfx 750 screens however our new ones have built in autosteer using Novatel. Which service would be the equivalent? We used rangepoint for drilling and it was spot on. Thanks in advance.

I don't think Novatel offers anything equivalent. Either something less accurate or RTK (which is more accurate and no drift). Pheasant Surprise and others would know better about new Fendt gear.

Thanks, we’re going to give terrastar c a go and if it’s not upto scratch we’ll look at RTK.

An opinion that I have heard is that trimble egnos correction is poorer than other firms egnos only correction. I would expect its a great business model, generating unlock business and subscriptions. I would expect the Novatel plus a little bit of correction to be a tidy option.

We’ve got a 1 year free subscription with each of the tractors, terrastar C was £900 a year and I think rtk was £1700 for SIM card and then £700 a year subscription. Off the top of my head

If you are used to RangePoint and happy with it, then I would approach the dealer about a receiver swap. You ought to also get 12-months of free RP sub too.

They have some cross-grade and upgrade deals going, until November I think.
