Looking at ways at work to improve the Biomass boiler.
It's running on chicken litter and as such it likes to be run hard, once demand drops off it creates issues.
Summer is difficult because of a low demand for heat from the chickens, but still needed on a night.
We've had someone peddling a Rankine generator, seems ideal, also goes towards reducing the sites sites electricity consumption.
Has anyone got any real world experience of a generator using the Rankine cycle?
Any good?
Reliable?
Efficiency?
