Rappa or kiwitech or ?

Looking at electric fencing gear does anyone have any experience of the kiwi tech? Plenty of people like the rappa but I don't know of anyone that can compare having used the two. Kiwi tech looks a good system from the videos I've watched especially liked that the thing could be taken off the quad and carried on steep or wet places were the quad can't go. Or something else entirely that I haven't thought of?
Don't do much fencing now but if I had an easy way to do it I'd do a lot more. Would be used on grass and some root crops if it makes any difference.

I've no experience of kiwi tech.

I do a lot of Rappa and get on well with it.

If you can use the fences in a semi permanent way, get a load of cheap geared reels from eBay or similar.

Follow @barnsidefarm on twitter . That's what they've done.

well as youve prob seen ive gone for the rappa/speedwhatever unit - and for reels im using the taragate reels from spunhill along with the posts -
im loving these - still using the old rappa kit for long runs when i can as the taragate stuff i can setup in seconds compared.
your welcome to swing by if you want.

How’s taragate faster than Rappa?

its more the hanging posts - combined with the plastic handle jobbies - rappa i have to take a hammer with me unluke just stepping in with the taragate ones.... rappa will and do last (15+years and counting.. at least for the reel posts)
plus i like the thicker taragate braid - more visible i think to the sheep - im only doing 100m odd front sections so dont have full reels - but the 3:1 ratio is nice comparaed to the 1:1 or the rappa.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
