Re-clamping 40% DM grass silage

Hoping to buy a pit of about 250 Tns of precision chop grass silage 40% DM , 10.2 ME, good analysis and fermentation, apart from D value and ME, which are lower than I would like.

Will mean moving it home and re-clamping, will it be OK at this dry matter or just go moldy?

Will use a contractor and do it in a day.
We have moved lower DM silage in the past with no problems.
Unfortunately got no grass to cut, so no wet stuff to cap it with, so it will just be ,'cling film' + sheet and tyres.

No expert but we’ve found shaking it out as much as possible then re clamp it as tight as you can. Think maize works so well as it shakes out and then re packs we’ll. should be ok

Move it as quick as you can roll it it to the pit very hard resheet using cling film and plastic weighted down with plenty weight

We moved some from an Ag bag 5 weeks ago. It was 27%. Feeding some now and very pleased.
40%...... well if you have to do it. Shake it out and roll it tight preventing any pockets of air.
