RE525 roller chain

Anyone know where I'm going to find 3m of it in a hurry? Managed to obliterate the chain on the mengele forager pickup today

I'm in Sussex. Help appreciated, I was thinking it may be used on something else.

a few, it's a morning job now to ring around. Just seems awkward they use this odd size chain. It'll take 4.5 tonne though so at least it would seem I did a good job on it..... and the guard..... and the tensioners

Is it the same as the fan to gearbox chain? I bought a spare length and some joiners as it was an unusual size and I couldn’t find any local to me when ours snapped

it could well be, quite a chunky chain, one inch pitch with 3mm side plate.

bet you're not local though, I'd bite your hand off for it you are!

I couldn’t find a supplier with any in stock at short notice when I needed some. Luckily I ‘borrowed‘ a chain off another local forager to get me going and then got some more chain off Alkmonton tractors (they will have it in stock)

I don’t know what size it is , but get a top brand , as in diamond , don’t bother with Challange , waste of time
