Rear tyre 600/65 R38 sidewall tear

Hi, had an old 10cm gash on my rear 600 65 R38 tyre go on me.

The cut is half way up the sidewall on a tyre that is otherwise has minimal wear.

Is the tyre fixable?

Are the cords cut

Radial tyre, not sure on the location of tge cords, but cut right through.

It may be easiest to arrange a Meridian repair through your tyre supplier.

I had a sidewall repair on my 6330 a few years ago. It was a smaller tear though at only 5 cm.
That was fixable and is still going now. The actual repair was only £120 but the trip out to take the tyre off,then take it away to be repaired, then come back to put it on soon added a lot to the total cost.
