Recommend me a dryer!

We are looking at upgrading our dryer and storage system

We currently have a master mobile dryer a 25t model 1996.

Thinking of going to a continuous flow dryer. I like the look of the farmfans dryer

We had an Alvan Blanch here a while back,that was continuous flow.could easily keep up with the combine too.havent dried anything since it was sold .i personally can’t see any point in batch driers.they may do x amount an hour but takes a while to fill and empty too.

There have been reports of Farm Fans ones catching light, I know they all can; but maybe research why Farm Fans seem to have had a bad rep?

Had our Alvan Blanch catch fire.used to dry hundreds of tons of peas and beans for dalgety.the bits from inside the bean pods would settle betwee the louvres and one day it started smoking as opposed to steaming which it done when beans were 30%.when we turned the fans of it went up big time and warped the whole machine but it was repaired and updated.everything was dressed before the drier too.

Doesnt everyone speak English in Poland? How else are you going to enjoy the latest Marvel movie
Is there much demand for dryers in Poland? I thought you guys had a much dryer climate than in the UK so no need to dry cereals anyway.

No, im litte speak Englisch ;-)
In Poland, everyone learns English at school, but not everyone learns enough to speak English
We use dryers to dry corn.
We have a lot of corn for grain.

Having burnt out two Farm Fans driers I really can’t recommend them!

They also have a fault in that they don’t actually dry all the grain, the inside next to the plenum is over dried and the outer grain is under dried and it’s supposed to mix and average out, but it was never as reliable to do so as either our earlier Opicos or the cf.

After the last one we upgraded to a cf and it’s just so much better.
