Looking to purchase a steam cleaner needs to be single phase not budget but not top end. Just for general cleaning not used everyday. With a decent warranty

I have a Nixon I’m very pleased with.

Kranzle have a great name.
Nilfisk do great washers too-I have a cold one of those which was a good price. Last weeks FW review was topped by the Nilfisk.

I would suggest avoiding Karcher.

I've got a Nilfisk hot washer, bought in refurbished second hand. Very good washer, easy used, easy servicing.

Britclean here, excellent local service from a family firm who build their own, based in North Staffordshire which will have a bearing.

Another vote for Cleanwell here. Need to keep it turned down or you can take paint off.
Go for higher volume and lower pressure variant, but tattoo it on the chap's mind and forehead otherwise they'll send out a standard one.
Keep away from Kranzle IME, but Ehrle good.

I assume that at the price any of these are far more reliable than the cheaper £3-400 standard washers? I've found that they only last 5 years max, and that's not every day use (which I realise might not be the best thing for them).
