Red clover

You said there is a risk with them ALL.
25 years of growing clover and its the first I have ever heard of this issue in non Red clovers

Have you got a link to the research behind this claim?
Yes I did say their is a big risk with pure stands of Red Clover at matting and to say there is no risk at all with other legumes is wrong , simple fact is I don't know anyone who grows pure stands of long term white clover and the risk levels with white clover are minimal,
I have certainly known this for many years , just Google it there are pages full on the subject
But I did not know you kept breeding ewes
As far as cows go there is no evidence apart from an odd unproven case put down to red clover of infertility affect on breeding cows

So no link ok, typical.
Has Hurrells not supplied you with any information or training then?

Having been organic for 20 years plus and used clover for many years more than that you would be surprised at my depth and wealth of knowledge in the subject and others beside. 😉

You said you had never heard of it before . And I was mixing seed with a shovel in the corner of the shed in the 60ts , from information I gleamed from Adas Resurch institute down the road . Long before I was selling for Hurrells
They have 50 phosphate trials here atm adas that is . Testing that stuff from that big mine up North

How come everetime i comment on something [emoji848] I have to prove my worthness to comment. I have legumes in the shed here ,it would be unprofessional of me not to advise of any risk ,no matter how small

Nope never about any other clover than Red.
Hence the questioning on the subject
As for your knowledge i don't question , just leave you with summat my late dad told me , When you think you know everything then its time to give up [emoji23]

That's why I was asking for a link.

How come everetime i comment on something

Just looking to glean more knowledge. Hence asking for a link to the proof. Any link?
But if the proof isn't there it goes in the recycling.

Our cows grazing kale in 1968 , when I learnt how to treat bloat with chip oil and read up about infertility problems that can be caused by grazing kale

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
