Red Tractor liars

Once all those connected with this start lying then they unfortunately have to carry on lying. The press will drag out most of the truth and then the juicy bits to be finished off in the courts.
Going to be fun watching this pan out. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

We're not doing nothing. We're lobbying everyone involved with letters, phone calls, complaints, suggestions of a way forward. Drilled up here, so now got all winter to get back to working on this.

The more farmers who put pen to paper, the better.

Please everyone, take a moment to send an email. To the NFU if you are a member, to AHDB, AIC, your MP, feed mills, rapeseed crushers etc.

An AHDB levy payer has paid levy, AHDB have given it to RT, RT have used it to convince everyone to only use RT grain, AIC have said only RT,SQC etc grain. Now that AHDB levy payer has had his own levy used to cut off his own market (vs imports that still are not required to be farm assured, yet the English/Welsh guy must be RT or cannot even sell a single grain to the local feed mill).

EVERYONE, PLEASE MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND WRITE SOME LETTERS EXPRESSING YOUR DISCONTENT.

Ask NFU what they are doing to do to get UK producers equal market access as imports enjoy.

Ask AHDB what they are going to do to develop markets for non-assured levy payers (that is, levy payers who have the same farm assurance standing as imports. Imports that are readily purchased by our end users).
Oh good lord, please don't infer that I was aiming that at you, you seem to be more active than the majority.

Trouble is, WE know what's happening, public does not.
We need to goto JC place, remove the eco numptys from his farm for him and then get him on our side to get the truth out.

They are not eco numpties. It was Ant and Dec playing a prank for their show on JC. They've been trying to get him for years.

Have mine too. I'll leave if others follow.2500 tons wheat ,OSR,Oats and a 1000 lambs. Will cost me but we have to make a stand in the name of fairness and honesty.
This is what I have done, yes it does cost and some traders take the pee but there are some good ones out there. But like you, if I'm not prepared to do it then why should others. But the apathy of others who just sit there with head in the sand aware of what's going on but doing nothing about it, yet they'll be the first to jump if an equal to imports scheme is brought about.

Found one! I don't do twitter but found if you want to publicly lay down the challenge.... Lidl's Belake Strong White Bread Flour Code is GWE0113 lets see the single grain passport that relates to that single bag of flour please.... Perhaps it is true, maybe Lidl really can match a batch of flour to a grain passport..... and maybe the other producers above mix and blend loads knowing that such pack traceability is without commercial value and also with the knowlege that having a British flag on the pack is of equal marketing value regardless if it has or has not a Red Tractor above it.....
Mrs bought one today so will ask for the name of the producer

No worries, no offence taken or meant.

We just all need to keep working away expressing our discontent and asking for an equal to imports pesticide declaration to be accepted in same way as imports are (y)

Millers purchase imports with no farm level assurance, as do feed mills and oilseed crushers. So why would our NFU and AHDB support the burden of RT onto our own farmers with extra costs, just to access the same markets.

Just keep writing. Write to FW, FG, NFU, AHDB, UK flour millers (was NABIM), AIC, feed mills, oilseed crushers etc.

A quick update - no reply from Tesco, so phoned again today, and they had no record of my call...

The man seemed a bit dumbfounded that they should be able to trace the flour back, but has put the question to the "team" and will call me back within "a few days".

I wont drop it. Watch this space...

I'm sure RT will be on the phone to them about how they are going to explain away this kilo of untraceable flour. Hope they put it all in writing to you. We need to have some fun with this one.

They must be fools. Social media is full of shyte even posting on twitter is devaluing the value of the RT brand. They should steer clear of the internet.
What the single biggest avenue to their customers! The Internet is here to stay! They need to up their game. Even their vice chair was knocking them on social media

Social media is full of shyte. Participation by RT does devalue their brand. They would be better leaving alone especially because they don’t have the resources to do it properly. The above post rather proves the point, if the vice chair is off message, they are devaluing their brand through unprofessional use of social media.

Doesn’t matter anyway, because there brand has no value. If it did we would be getting a financial return from them for its use
