Redback Boots???

Have come across these “Redback Boots” for sale today on an Agri site and after having sold so many pairs on Farm Marketplace recently and knowing that there is little to no stock out there at the moment I was wondering if these were some really old stock or possibly fake? As the box is completely different with the B backwards and the tag is at the side rather than on the back pull.

thoughts greatly appreciated 😊

Edit: these are what fake redbacks look like.

This is their website.

I've been through nearly all categories just now and can't find anything with that style of welt or branding. Consequently I believe yours may well be fakes. If they make cheap fakes of £8 Casio watches, they will likely fake anything.

The sole looks more like a blund stone style than red back.

If you want to check then give Gavin a call at trade winds. He is the uk/European importer. If you don’t deal with him already and need his number then feel free to pm me.

I agree with you, they do. Blundstone only now make a few boots at their true home which is (was?) Hobart, Tasmania. Production of the mass market Blundstones switched to Thailand some ten years ago and Blunnies are also produced in China, Vietnam and India. US production comes from Mexico.

Easier to rip off this shape then in these factories......

Lucy, unless a prospective buyer is pretty stupid and knows nothing about the boots, what they look like, the tabs and the boxes, why would they buy these?

p.s. is 'China-virus' (I prefer Trump's description of the ailment) responsible for the stock shortages? I need another pair of UBOK size 10.

Yes that is exactly the issue lol! No flights in or out of Australia due to Covid, they had started to ship via Boat a costly and time consuming process and have now been hit by Port strikes in Australia.
Keep checking our site as we should have a few boots going on soon but it will only be a few, and then we are hoping for a new shipment in November. :) (y)
