Evening , we have a 6 furrow rabe Albertros plough , I want to make it a 5 furrow , does anybody know if it’s just a case of unbolting the back furrow and it’s good to go or weather I need to adjust the turnover stop ram as it will have less weight ? I can’t find anything in. The Manual and local dealer hasn’t got back to me , thanks

The restrictor is usually in the Tee piece by the unfolding ram.held in by the hydraulic pipe union that feeds it
It looks like this as it just so happens I have one on my desk.

This one is aprox 10mm across and has a 0.8 mm hole in it.

Be aware if you don't clean your couplings it can get blocked with dirt and very easy to loose 😀
Ps your dealer may not have got back to you as Rabe went bust (again) 2 years ago. There was very little factory support in the last year too
Am I dreaming that g besson bought rabe?

Besson were not very helpful when I needed some information 2 yrs ago.
If I hadn't already got Rabe, I wouldn't be buying.

Hi, I had the unenviable task of shutting down Gregoire Besson uk back in 2019. The team was all made redundant and the building was sold. All support and parts comes direct from the factory near Nantes in France .
dealers can still get parts ( most parts in 2018 and 2019 already came direct from France rather than UK stock)
Sad times as I had some good friends and colleagues at GB (Gregoire Besson)
