Remote steading cctv

Our number 2 steading is 1km from home. There is line of sight vision from barn top to barn top, but not sure if it is an exact straight line due to odd trees. The steading is accessed from the highway by a 300m lonning from the N and the same from the S.
There is no internet on the steading but it could be installed easily enough. We have internet in the main farmhouse.
We usually have someone like a residential tenant living on site but not always so we are concerned about unwelcome visitors especially at night.
It would be great to have a recording of movements on or off the site and better still if we could access it on an i phone. The quality of the image needs to be good enough to identify a person or a car registration number.
Maybe someone has a similar problem which has been solved.
I hope someone can help.Thanks.

You can also get CCTV that uses mobile data to stream activity to your mobile/computer. DIY or use professional installers.

Lower initial capital cost than installing broadband I suspect....
Pointless, give yourself the pleasure of being able to view and rewind when you are robbed. Pointless spend.
