Removing nails from asbestos roof

I need to remove a few asbestos roof sheets from a building. I am hoping to remove the sheets whole to make for easier disposal. I want to remove the sheets from inside the building into a scissor lift platform. I am trying to come up with a way of cutting the nails from underneath the sheets, thinking something like thin long nose bolt cropper if such a thing exists, either electric, manual or pneumatic. Any ideas gratefully received.

If they've got the rubber washers still on you should be able to grind the heads off without touching the sheets did some a few weeks ago! You could always have someone next to you with a watering can trickle water on the sheet as you grind just to be sure! Bear in mind that when you pull the sheet off there will be dust

Only 200mm long so might not have enough leverage to cut an asbestos nail.

We use what appears to be a purpose made cutter for the job. Multistage hinge like lazy tongs and slender snipper to get under corrugation. Handy tool though I had to extend the arms a bit to give a bit more leverage and control for when the nail gives.

Other way is cutting disc on small angle grinder on the outside of roof or mole grips and try to twist them out.

Working from inside with snippers is far better for me.
