Removing Starter Motor from Sanderson 726 Turbo.

There isn't much access to the Perkins Turbo engine in a Sanderson 726. Do you get the starter out via the side access hole or drop it down past the axle?

Mine seems to clash both ways.

Thanks,

Dafydd

Easy.

Take the wheel off and sit on the wheel hub.

It comes out through the hole in chassis fine.

Fit an iskra 3.2kw or you'll be doing it again soon. Do not replace with original style they are all useless.

The Iskra 3.2kw is now fitted, and the Teleporter starts better than ever.

I didn't have any luck sitting on the wheel hub. My 14 stone wouldn't budge it, and I was loth to take the other side wheel off while the machine was tottering on a bottle jack.

This is what I did instead. (see picture)

Thanks for the pointers.
