Renewing the chillers in farm shop

Hello
I'd welcome people's opinion.
We need to renew the three chillers in our farm shop. The chillers contain meat, dairy & vegetables.
We plan to install one long chiller, with the motor outside, to reduce the heat in the shop.
The installer has recommended a closed fronted chiller.
Closed fronted makes sense for meat and milk, but I'm very nervous about hidding our vegatables behind glass. Too sterile?

Does anyone have experience of farm shops where the fruit & veg are in closed fronted chillers?
Thank you

We fitted a long line of closed chillers with the fridge unit outside, works fine but our fruit + veg on open shelving suffer badly from the heat in the farmshop so all the salad leaf product l put in a closed fronted chiller successfully, our new shop in 2016 be built as one large building, we now need to separate the shop from the cafe as the heat to keep the cafe customers warm is just too hot for the shop side.
