Where is a good place to buy a replacement seat for a Merlo. Dont need an air seat, just a reasonable sprung seat preferably with a cloth cover though will be putting a seat cover on it.

Thanks

What seat is in it at the moment? The air one on my web parts page is decent at not too much money.

There is one similar that's mechanical and a lot less but never sold it but I'm told its alright.

It's a mechanical seat. Don't want air really as will spend most of its life around the yard and on concrete/Tarmac.

Only seat base cushion is knackered. Toying with idea of taking seat to upholsterers and getting them to make good the base. Might be cheapest option.

Air seat makes it much more comfortable if you ever go for a cruise down the road

There should be a plate on the seat somewhere. Get the model and serial number and you will be able to buy parts for it. Sometimes need to slide seat forward and plate is on top of base unit.

What's your website again for parts ?

website link is in my signature at bottom of each post(y)

Don't normally get involved with merlos though! The grammer air seat on my website will be no good as it will be too high on the suspension unit. plus the base is wider so will need modifying to fit. Masseybreakers seat top could work if rails are same width or if you can make a adaptor plate. his is a much nicer cushion by looks of it and will be harder wearing that that cheap old school KAB seat top.

Decided to get the base reupholstered. £20 for new foam. Same for fabric. Labour £40.

Pretty happy with end result. Foam is thicker than original and nice and comfey.
