Repplacement lexion ladder

I think the ladder is made by Werner. I bought a Werner 722 series ladder off eBay which cost £134. I think the Werner product code is 72229. The upper section fits but is 10 rung instead of 9. Cut it off or leave as is. You’ve also got the first stage to use elsewhere.
Does the plastic hooks transfer from old ladder to fit in the top ok as well? Thanks
