Hi all, I'm a student at Cardiff School of Art and Design, writing my disseration on different farming techniques and their impact on the environment. I would really appreciate if you could fill out this survey, it will take 3 minutes of your time and help me a huge amount. Cheers

Your survey needs proof reading. I tried to complete it but when I put that we do operate regenerative practices the next questions still asked my why I did not use them and what would encourage me to take them up.

Also, I applaud you for using open questions but unless you have a very good understanding of agriculture around the UK you will find it impossible to understand the endless variety of descriptions you get for what farming people practice.

Interesting wording of the questions..
E.g. 'How often do you rely on Government Subsidiaries [sic]?'
I answered never. I'll take the money every year but i'm not financially dependent on them. Is that what you intended?

I then answered yes to the regenerative question. Would've been better to perhaps ask what specific methods I employ, rather than ask about incentives to convert me to a system I already use?

Like most surveys it is well meaning but poorly thought out.

You may be a student at Cardiff but I strongly suspect that your 'disseration' has nothing whatsoever to do with your course.

Yet another pi$$ poor survey makes it onto TFF, garbage in, garbage out, I struggle to see how anyone is going to learn anything from that.

Do you still need to pass O levels before going on to study at college because I can’t work out how the author managed that.

Thanks for taking the time to look at it. Sorry about that though. I mean I only managed to get to study at college by giving them £9k a year. Do you have any suggestions for how it could be improved?

Yes that was what I intended, sorry it wasn't clear.

I forgot to add a skip logic function to that question, it should've been just for those who responded with no. Thats a good point, I'll add that in the next iteration, thank you for the feedback

Thank you for the feedback, I made a mistake when I meant to add a skip logic to the questions. I'll take it into consideration for the next iteration. I'm happy with any data I get back so I can research the answers I get.

All seems a bit odd to me. The dissertation supervisor is programme director for a product design course.

Oh, and it’s at Cardiff Met not Cardiff University. Mistake the latter for the former and you’ll have angry CU alumni after you 😂

Cardiff Metropolitan on Western Avenue by the enormous Tescos. I've had a son studying there and none of their undergraduate courses would require a dissertation on 'different farming techniques.'

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
