Research Interview Request - Fruit and Vegetable UK Farming

Hi there,

Would any fruit and vegetable farmers be willing to take part in an short interview about farming for a research project?

I'm a researcher at the University of Liverpool. I'm part of a research project called Rurban Revolution http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/rurbanrevolution/ which is looking at the health, sustainability and environmental benefits of upscaling urban agriculture as a way of complimenting traditional growing methods.

Part of this work is focused on sustainable supply chains, looking at the potential barriers and opportunities for upscaling urban agriculture. To explore this, I'm conducting interviews with farmers and growing groups from urban and non-urban areas to find about what they do, their plans, and what is needed for the future. I'm really keen to talk to any non-urban farmers who work with any types of fruit and veg, based in the UK.

If you'd be interested in talking more and/or taking part in a short interview please feel free to get in touch. All interviews are confidential and anonymous. My email address is b.mead (at) liverpool.ac.uk and the project is on Facebook and Twitter as Rurban Revolution. Our website is: http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/rurbanrevolution/

Many thanks!
Bethan Mead
