Like all cranks hes best ignored.
Trouble is that idiots like this are given a platform and do gain a significant number of disciples. History shows that these extremists do not consider themselves to be extremists and will go to all kinds of lengths to increase their power and influence in order to establish their will upon the sensible majority. They want to change the world order and mould it to their vision which they think will save the world. Non-believers are seen as heretics.

It’s just another attempt at creating a doomsday sect. These evangelists can gain very significant numbers of once sane followers. You see it all around the world in so many forms. They seek power over their fellow humans through fear of the unknown and often of the end of times. They see themselves as saviours of the world or of their followers. It’s a very common pattern that has proven successful through the centuries and repeated over and over again. There’s one born every minute.

When my great grandfather was in charge of road building in Radnorshire as a councillor paid only expenses. A local farmer asked for a bridge to his farm over a small river. Having seen the job ,he said if we can have some oaks out of the local Lord’s wood to build it it’ll be done. Life so much easier and quicker and efficient in those days. How many years would it take now and how many meetings, newt, bat and badger experts all wanting to do paid reports.

Natural History Museum analysis also reveals that the UK, with just half (53%) of its biodiversity remaining, is one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world.
It shoud be compared countries of a similar population density, otherwise its just propaganda bullocks.

Reported a crater in the road that about popped all tyres on left hand side of truck and trailer , will see of their response ......
I reported some trees overhanging the road on fix my street, the council had a look and reported no issue, so left it. A couple of years later I happened to be following a lorry as it went past the same place, so I took a picture as it had to cross to the other side of the road to get past, I put that on fix my street with the comment that they did nothing last time. Within a week it was all cut back, not sure if it was the householder or the council. Moral of the story is you need photographic evidence to hold their feet to the coals.

They don't realise what it's like from a tractor cab height when they look at these hedges , they only judge the job on a car .
There's hedges everywhere where you need to be in middle of road to avoid mirrors being smashed off ....

Yep, bashed a mirror on the tractor recently on a hedge just up the road belonging to the sewage works, the hedge is tight against the road and wasn’t cut last year, a reasonably busy B road, ok for cars but not wide enough fir large vehicles when the hedge is overhanging.

As the old saying goes, if our cars have to be roadworthy, why aren’t our roads car worthy…………….which applies to larger vehicles too

Not to mention the number of road signs overgrown and obscured with trees and bushes.

One rule for one…

Same with back breaking sunken drains, some round here must be near 6” lower than the road surface. Cars will rarely be that far over, but they’ll have your teeth out if/when you hit them with the row crops.

Can understand why the bycyclists ride in the middle of the lane.

I don’t suppose these floods have anything to do with lack of maintenance, !!
