Yeah that's what i've got but still find 2nd to high and 4th to low so plan is fit the Roamerdrive and at a later date replace the rear diff for now with a 4.3-1 diff from a Rover P4 car and if it works out ok i will then buy another 4.3-1 diff for the front 🙂

I guess the trouble is it's all a compromise. You could disco transfer box (even higher 1st gear...), disco transfer & gearbox (getting into realms of loosing tax & mot exemption, and also the "just drive a disco then!").
I would go roamer, or, if money's an issue then an Ashcroft mod (same low box but higher high box).
Let's face it, another stick would be more fun!! 👍

Wouldn't mind one, just need a lottery win first... 😔 So until then it's early disco diffs 🏎️

Yeah tbh when i first did the rebuilt i did fit an Ashcroft HRTC but still found it to high with the 3.54 diffs fitted, tried swapping the rear 3.54 to std 4.7-1 diff and again it was still to high so went the other way refitted the 3.54 diff and swapped the HRTC for a std transferbox which was a lot better but slightly to high so think the Roamerdrive on its own would bring the gearing similar to how it was with the HRTC fitted in top gear so think a 4.3-1 diff should work

Ah, id just go for it then. I don't think that you will look back on the purchase. I'd rather a roamer than an expensive failing, whining fairy...
Whats the worst case? sell it to me, cheap...😆

Nice👍
Thought about the sump plate for my setup, but in all honesty I don't do the miles to warrant it, when the O/D is purchased that is..
