I was told that lely over here have 1 engineer for 25- 30 robots, some of the other makes wouldn't have that number of robots in total, which makes it harder for them to cover breakdowns.

We have a VMS, I feel Lely engineers are robot trained only which is an advantage , Delaval are supposed to cover all parlours as well. I have long argued with both Delaval and our dealership that we should have specialist Vms staff but to no avail. If I ever decide to renew, it may well be a key factor in the decision making process!!!!
 
Are they OK at cleaning Iargish non slatted areas - if the robot is put in at back of shed it will have to clean a fairly big area maybe 50' by 30' running across the top of the slatted passageways?

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
