I always think toll booth style looks good, I'm guessing it doesn't fit in with existing sheds very well though
I always thought that layout was used more in existing sheds where there wasn’t sufficient width to fit them the other way. We were advised for best results a cow should be able to see the robot from anywhere in the shed. To allow the more timid cows to see if they were empty among other reasons. I think everyone has different preferences though.
 
Yea. How do you get on with it? As @Spear said my worry is 1 cow blocking both. I have room to separate mine out but if I do that too much leaves a lot of wasted space. Trying to find a balance
We find no issues with them being like this we have 5 in a row all touching each other. We even have two right hand ones next to each other and one exits where the other one fills. The cows just get on with it!
