.they mentioned the analogue copper phone network will start being shut down in 4-5 years
That`s good if they have provided you with a fibre optic service instead of copper

Just had BT renewing my broadband and phoneline contracts and trying to get me to swap the phoneline to cloud based system........they mentioned the analogue copper phone network will start being shut down in 4-5 years which would surely make anyone landline autodialler obsolete and extremely expensive to upgrade to a cloud based autodialler? Great.
Could be regulator sticking, check how hard vacuum pump is running. Maybe not sealing inside teat cleaner vessel??? Who knows what it could be with a VMSGot the dreaded middle of the night alarm last night, of course it had to happen when I’m away on holidays. A nice expensive call out no doubt to add on top of cost of holiday and paid help, wee cheap break is suddenly becoming costly.
It was VP MVR fault or system leak. Any idea what would cause that on a VMS. Has happened couple times before but usually turning vacuum pump on and off sorted it, didn’t seem to work this time.

Someone whould not happen to have all the service material to Delaval VMS that are newer then 2007? We are talking about 600MB of material.. everything from parts numbers, installation of the robot, etc.
We are planning on doing most of the installation on our own, but Delaval does not really like to share it. And it whould make it abit easier.
I am fitting a second hand robot. It is a VMS maufactured in 2010, I think it is a 2011 model.@Fossi are you fitting new or second hand robots
Try ringing Tim Gibson ltd for some prices of alternatives (smartbow I think he’s selling)Has anyone had any experience or is it even possible to replace collars (qwes?) on lely a4 to a Eid eartag reader and stand alone heat such as cow manager? 6 years on and out of warranrty and quite a few of mine are starting to fail. They seem to lose heat detection first and eventually Id... just thinking thought options before I ask lely for a price!
You happy with them ?Try ringing Tim Gibson ltd for some prices of alternatives (smartbow I think he’s selling)
Personally, we swapped to the hr long distance collars last year when lely had a part exchange deal on plus the grant scheme.
