With their Christmas hamper this year we got a card gift for 10 %discount on chemicals. One off though.
I daren’t show my father or he’ll insist thats what we should be running at all the time!Time to get few cows away again, maybe

What sort of free time would everyone be running at? Would yield be relevant to that question?
8 on one, 20 on the other. Heifers get trained on the busy one which puts out 25% more milk as well.I daren’t show my father or he’ll insist thats what we should be running at all the time!

You're getting lazy in your old age!! Getting to used to the handy life with them hens.Running at 20% at the moment, a few heifers to calf this month will pull it down a bit.
Used to be nearly always below 5% but foot off the gas here since we put the last payment through 2 years ago......

Mine were sitting at 3.2% this morning, have culled 4 and sold 3 fresh in February. Too much hassle, want to sell more but projections showing me short on numbers come June. Hard getting the balance of calving right.
i couldnt live at that 3 bots in highs shed with 140 cows are circa 15% single bot in low shed is 23% with 65 on putting just shy of 8000kg a day in the tank so not taking alot of harm, tbf putting the 4th single as a low shed has enabled us to run more cows with more freetimeTime to get few cows away again, maybe

Bought alot of ic heifers over last 3 years to get to max no's as cheap as possible but with a recent tb breakdown and not wanting excess calves about we will revert back to buying fresh going forward I thinkAre you completely flying herd and if so do you always buy calved? Thinking about going that way here.
Thank you tbf we've taken an independent nutritionist on in last 12months which has helpedThat’s impressive figures
I run a V300 and a Classic. The classic can hold its own if it has good uddered cows on it.4 classics. sub 5% idle time. 220 cows. 2.6 visits 8.20 box time. 8200kg 4.6%bf 3.5% pro at the moment. Can't wait till the v300s are swapped in at end of the month.
What is the main difference between the twoI run a V300 and a Classic. The classic can hold its own if it has good uddered cows on it.
The main difference attachment wise would be Classics work with lasers and the V300's use a 3d cameraWhat is the main difference between the two
They absolutely can. For us running costs are now out weighing the cost of borrowing money and running v310s instead. Hopefully by April I will feel like we've made the right decision.I run a V300 and a Classic. The classic can hold its own if it has good uddered cows on it.
9 yrs with hn500Are your Classic robots old? Mine has been running just over 5 years and is very reliable, my V300 is about 3 months younger and the components in it would be quite soft in comparison.
