In the news yesterday there was an article on a rocket back pack which was under going testing for possible uses by air ambulance/ mountain rescuers to reach in accessible spots very quickly. It was a hell of a bit of kit .
I’m wondering if there’s any possible uses for it in agriculture?

I think you missed an important point. The difference between the old 'rocket' packs and this one is that it is a 'jet' pack. It uses the air as an oxidiser instead of carrying one. That gives the improvement in endurance.

Mountain rescue 90 seconds to a casualty rather than a 25 minute fast yomp in the Lakeland trial yesterday

Always answer the question asked 😋

Takes 3 people 45 minutes to get it ready to use, then 2 hours for pre-flight tests/checks. 30 minutes to risk assess the landing point. The insurance inspector must be present for all flights. And now my legs got gangrene. Plus the pilot isn't trained for first aid, so all he does is radio in the location.

......probably
