Scammers

After posting in the wanted section the other day looking for a grinder mixer, I received a notification. Someone commented on my post, saying their friend had one and was still available, and this was their email address. After emailing them, I decided to leave it as it didn’t just feel right. Just by pure chance I was searching the Internet tonight and came across the same pictures of the same machine which was for sale six years ago in USA. Now they said they had had it for five years. They were supposedly in Ireland but why use pictures from six years ago in America if it wasn’t a scam! So be careful people!

I Posted in wanted and got same response and alarm bells went off when they wanted £135 for £6k of equipment. I’ve strung the scammer along to 24 emails with all his payment options from PayPal to bitcoins. Forwarded emails to gov scammer dept.
That user has been kicked off but they could re-register with new name and continue.
If it sounds too good it probably is!

I had the same response on my Piaggio post- a message, which then got deleted, from an account, also deleted, saying such and such had posted one, here's the email.

Intrigued, I emailed them, and lo and behold, allegedly in Ireland- despite vehicles in the background having non-irish numberplates.. 🤔

The comment got deleted on my post, and I search for the member said that they don’t exist, but I took a screenshot for sake of the email address, so I do have a picture of it!
