Scottish Capital Grant Scheme?

I filled in the form for above scheme to claim for an auto steer system for a tractor. Out of the blue earlier this week a gps supplier cold called me wanting to come to the farm to quote me for a system. He had all my details but when I asked where he got my details tried to fob me off with I’d filled a form in on gps manufacturers web page. We do have a Facebook page and if he said he’d seen said tractor on that and was just touching base then fair enough, but he denied this is where he got my details and knew which system I was looking for.
Now I haven’t been on said gps manufacturers website as I’d be more confident using my tractor dealers system as I’d have their back up with one laptop not 2 companies.
Has anyone else had a cold call on this recently and am I putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5?

Craic is that everyone is getting in plus you can remove any items which you now don't want.
Early December before approvals are announced. But wtf do I know!

Contracts out before mid December, was the last indication I had. Followed by 'no promises'.

Hows that going to work when we have to have it bought by 31 March 2021?

Ritchie's already have at least a 2month waiting list for a lot of products due to back logs because of steel supplies during covid. I think they may have to extend the 31st of march deadline as i think some products will be impossible to get on farm before then.

You’re stuffed if you have one in your application, I guess. I settled for another make and have it sitting uncollected but with my name against it.
