I got £90/t about weeks ago.
Not seen the 3 men in a transit tipper brigade for 12 months. Price of scrap must be on the floor.
Oh dear......They've been hanging around my place that's why...
Thank you!done
Took some into local scrap yard today £57 a ton but was making the yard look a mess so had to go
I'm going to make a nice tidy heap somewhere out of sight round the back and wait for things to improve!Took some into local scrap yard today £57 a ton but was making the yard look a mess so had to go
I don't think that will happen for a long time with new steel well less than 500 per tonFeck I might start buying more scrap,I think mine can wait around a bit longer, seems an age since I got £280/t
Does that mean that new sheds will be cheaper?I don't think that will happen for a long time with new steel well less than 500 per ton
Or like the oil, down a bit then up againDoes that mean that new sheds will be cheaper?
doubt it the steel is a fair bit of the price but big increase in timber and rise in concrete will cancel it out I think, but like contractors many costs absorbed and need to get a little backDoes that mean that new sheds will be cheaper?
