A long time ago ,my father was a dealer in allsorts.scrap being one of them ,we had a volkswagon pick up ,the one with the under body compartment.for some reason we had a lot of a!uminium to weigh in ,dad say persisting down tomorrow we will weigh that scrap in ,then he put 4 x 5gallon drums full of water in said compartment.off we go just before entering yard he pulls over and says get in there and when i bang on the side undo caps and let the water out ,it was hammering down .nobody noticed he was put on the weighbridge as the ali was bulky ,so he gained nearly 100kgs ,crafty swine

Scrap boys bought a safe off me, and promptly began filling it with soil.:D

Well pleased, £190 a ton yesterday at Christie's Glasgow, guessed we had maybe 10 ton on the lorry, 16.8t over the weighbridge! Well worth the time gathering it up and loading.

If you've an accumulation, get it away, while the price is good! It's amazing how much you've probably got!
