Why not just leave the acid in them....Top tip of day is to fill you batteries full with water before you take them in
Leave that is as well , just fill to the top with water more weight, that is what the scrap yard does with me if they are not full alreadyWhy not just leave the acid in them....

I heard of someone selling scrap cars buying sand to add weight to them years ago

Same here sold by the size of car priced accordingly, they must have cottoned on to itAt our scrappers the actual weight is irrelevant
