They had 1.5lit alto elite 3.5weeks ago. I’m going to have to go again aren’t I? Particularly as I can see signs of rusts and choc spot. Annoying as I hate blundering through them again. Do most people end up going twice? I often get away with 1 but not this year I don’t think

Chocolate spot bad in ours after that week of rain, got the 2nd fungicide on but it doesn’t look great.
Sorry to change the subject a bit to spring beans but having not grown them for a long time,put fungicide on about 3 weeks ago and I would like to know if they need another? The crop looks very clean and is on new ground that I don’t know how wet it will be in places so wondering if I need to do another pass

Walked ours 5 days ago and they were quite clean. Had another look today, covered in chocolate spot.

Drilled about the 10th of October, and I probably got them too thick as well. Just certain areas of the field where crop is tallest and thickest that have choc spot the worst.
First fungicide was about a week after first onset of flowering, then second fungicide about 3rd of June.
Emergency 3rd fungicide yesterday, ahead of the next 2 rainy days and then high temperatures.
Might not have got much value out of the 1st fungicide, and looks like I should have spent more money on the 2nd fung. If only I had a crystal ball.

CTL + strobe + teb x2 here to date. Second one was just before rain which I prioritised over T3!

Did mine last tues , glad I did as I could just see a bit of choccy spot coming in , 4 weeks after first fung , they look well , sold the first ton per acre the other day rightly or wrongly

Probably a wrong decision as old crop still fetching good money but with a biggish area of good looking beans I felt that it could force prices down so I sold the first ton at £200 / ton , now with 2 weeks gone since sold and still a strong spot price I think I've jumped to quick
Yes 1L of ctl about 2 weeks ago now (after the rain) so about £5.10/ha spent
Clean at the moment and no plans to go again but that will be weather dependant
